Our Virtual Lunch & Learn will focus on various fraud and identity theft schemes that target seniors and what professionals can look for to protect seniors from the scams.

Some topics that may be addressed include:  

 - What the USPIS does
 - Identity theft
 - Scams involving COVID-19
 - Lottery scams and money mule activity scams
 - Impersonation scams

About the Presenter

U.S. Postal Inspector Kathy Woliung is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist for the US Postal Inspection Service in Cincinnati. She has been with the Postal Inspection Service for 17 years and is currently the Team Leader for the Mail Fraud Team, who investigate complex mail fraud investigations. In addition to investigations, the team also provides education on mail fraud scams to consumers and businesses.  The U.S. Postal Inspection Service supports and protects the Postal Service and its employees, infrastructure, and customers; enforce the laws that defend the nation’s mail system from illegal or dangerous use; and ensure public trust in the mail.  Inspector Woliung has a BS in Business from Mt. St. Joseph and MBA from Indiana Wesleyan.
