Golly, it is now going into October, and, are you still working from home and still not getting to see referral sources to grow your business? Are you feeling isolated and disconnected? In that case, then don't delay and register for our next virtual zoom networking lunch. We have made many introductions over the past few months at this Zoom event.
Join us for our mask free Halloween networking event via zoom. However, this month we do want to add some fun to the event and we do want you to sport your best Halloween Face Mask. We will provide a $25 Kroger gift card donated by Visiting Angels Cincinnati West to the mask voted as the best on the call! You have to have one anyway for Halloween and we have a lot of creative members and nonmembers, so, get creative and show us what you got!
There are many new faces and job changes so please join the APA at our next virtual networking lunch event on October 21st at noon. It's free and you don't have to be a member, so no excuse to be left out meeting new people in a field where we all have something spooktacular in common....the field of aging. Please be prepared to introduce yourself (no scaring permitted) and provide everyone with your contact information if you like.
In addition to networking with the entire group, this meeting will also break down into small breakout rooms, letting you get to know people on a 1:1 basis. It was very popular last month so we are doing it again.
Sylvia Dwertman, an APA board member and chair of the APA Promotions Committee, will lead the chat for networking, interaction and some fun. You will get to meet everyone that joins in, along with their contact information if it is provided to us.
Whether you work at home or in the office, grab your lunch and join us. See how we can help each other and anything else that you might like to chat about. This will be a great time to see a few familiar faces and there are always some new faces too. You just never know who will be free to join our Zoom call. We want to stay connected with you in such a crazy time, and this is the perfect way for you to say hi to everyone.
The event is totally free for everyone. We encourage you to bring a colleague or a prospective new member!
During the event, you'll have the chance to support APA student scholarships, which are awarded to students pursuing a degree in the field of aging. If you so desire, have your credit card handy. You never know what we have planned for October unless you attend!
